How to Tell If Your Crush Likes You

Have you ever liked someone so much, that it hurts? Do you ever find yourself hopelessly wishing for that person to like you back. And if so , how can you even tell if they like you back.

There are a couple of signs that a person might show if they like you back, whether boy or girl, signs that can be hard to tell at times.

You see a friend of mine asked me a couple of days ago , "How can he get a girl he likes to go out with him?". And I replied to him in just simple terms , "It depends ,First of all, does she seem interested in you?"

His reply is what caused me to write this post. "I don't know what these signs of interest are.I'm not a relationship expert".

Neither am I.

But with careful research and from my  own  personal experience of liking someone and whatnot,  I decided to help my friend out and give him a series of signs that girls will give , if they like you.

And not only girls but guys too.You see often times it's hard to tell whether your crush like's you back and that alone can drive you crazy.Not knowing whether to make the first move, to talk to them  and risk not embarassing yourself,or even do anything.

With Valentine coming just around the corner I figured why not. Love is about to be in the air soon, and cupid is stocking up on his arrows to get many people together this season. You might just be one of the lucky ones getting the girl/guy of your dreams.

But only if you follow these signs that I have written down below.

1. Look at their Body Language , When they are Around You

Do they seem shy,often times when talking to you? Do they give you a small smile when they look at you? If they're shy and sometimes smiling at you for no reason, then maybe yes, it could be that you make them nervous and that they might have some feelings for you.

Be careful, however, because shy people are usually shy all the time. You could misread whether your crush actually likes you. So it's best to use this information along with the other signs when you're making the call about whether or not they like you.

If they give you a quick look as you walk by, that's a sign, too.
Do they hang around you sometimes and talk about things going on? Then maybe they like being in your company a lot which is a good sign.

When they talk to you, do they look straight into your eyes? If they do, it means they're paying attention to you. Be aware of that.

2. The Kind of Information They Share With you

Does  your crush tell you  about something special they're doing, such as reading a book or playing a sport, out of the blue? Does He/She tells you secrets and random stories about their day? They might be trying to impress you and hold a deeper conversation with you

• Do they tell you some  semi-personal information when you didn't ask for it? Giving people personal information is a sign that they trust you or want you to give them personal information back.
• Do they talk about their family, their ex,religion,political views or about the past? These topics are all things people are usually pretty guarded about and can be very personal. If your crush is letting you in on them, it may be a sign that they want you to know more about them and are interested in doing the same with you.

3.How Often Do You catch them looking at You

 Do you ever see them looking at you when they think you cannot see them? If you catch him/her looking at you and you look back, do they look away? If they do, that could be a sign of nervousness.


Here's  a tip if you want help on how to catch your crush staring hard at you,whenever he/she thinks you're not looking or aware. Have a good friend,whom you trust,scope it out for you. Have them see whether your crush looks at you a lot every time, you are around. This could help you get a more insight, because if your crush is indeed staring at you a lot, then it could be that they are crushing hard.

4.Notice How they Act when They are Around You

Does it seem that they make it a point to happen to be near you or walk back and forth in front of you? Then it means that they are trying to get your attention, but in a very discreet way. Or maybe sometimes not in a discreet way, but obvious way.

Do they make little excuses to be around you? Do they ask you for the homework problems, or sit next to you in class, or pick you to be on their team for games or group work in class? It could mean something!


Does their voice get louder when they're talking to other people around you? It could be a sign that they want you to listen or pay attention to them.

Does he treat you differently then he treats his/her other friends, particular the other sex?Maybe they share's their food or things with you a lot, they help you out with anything, they defends you when someone says something to you. Maybe he or she is even much nicer and comfortable around you. All of these could be signs that your crush likes you back.

5. It is Important That you Pay Attention to how they interact with you Physically

Do they tickle you or tease with their hands? Do they always try to tell you a joke and make you laugh or do they throw random things at you in an effort to get your attention?

Even gestures that don't seem playful or nice might mean they're attracted to you. Lots of people understand that their body language is giving them away, and try to make the body language mean or impersonal. Do they hit you lightly or play pranks on you? It might mean that they want attention from you, and they're trying to get it doing anything they can.


In fact these are one of the oldest tricks in the book that someone does when they like you. You know how back in elementary school they always used to say that if a guy or girl was mean to you and kept picking on you , then most likely it meant they liked you.


98% of the time it actually does turn out to be true. People tend to do weird and sometimes stupid things when they like you, without even realizing it. But it's their way to get your attention so that could definitely be a sign to look out for .

With all these signs listed above to help you know whether or not your crush might be crushing on you just as hard,I figured you might also need tips on how to approach the situations.

• Be patient and relax. Don't freak out about things if they don't go your way. Just take your time with everything.
• Don't try and find out all of these things in one day. Just relax and find out on other days as well.
• Don't be to shy around them. If they try talking to you, talk back. If they talk to you and smile while talking, it might be a sign.
  
• Take your time if you need to. Things may not go by very fast. Get to know him/her. Start hanging out with them. Flirt with them but not too much
• If you really like them and want them to get the "hint", make it a point to be around them. This will open them up more and they may feel a bit closer, and you'll notice THEM giving you "hints".
• Don't overdo the following/stalking. This can get awkward and make them not like you anymore and you can totally misunderstand them further down the road.
• Don't join any clubs/activities with him/her if you aren't interested at all. You want the person to like you for who you are, not for someone you  are trying to be.

If you find out that He/She isn't interested in you, DON' feel down. Life goes on and sometimes you just have to accept things.


If He/She does not like you then you just have to simply move on, it sucks but there isn't much you can do if a person isn't really interested. You don't want to get even more hurt trying to make something happen that just isn't there.
